Therapeutic Focus:
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a deep passion for providing inclusive, affirming mental health care, especially within LGBTQ+ communities. As a queer therapist myself, I care deeply about creating a space where clients can show up fully as they are, without fear of judgment, and feel genuinely seen, understood, and celebrated.

Schooling and Training:
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. My clinical experience includes working with neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQ+ clients, and those navigating personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma. I completed a year and a half of clinical training at the LGBTQ Center where I offered LGBTQ+ affirmative mental healthcare. I hold specialized training in religious trauma and DBT.

Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and curiosity. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Attachment-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I’m especially passionate about helping clients explore identity, relationships, self-worth, and healing from past experiences in a way that feels empowering and aligned with who they are.

Fun Facts About Me:

I am a Black, lesbian, neurodivergent woman. Outside of therapy, I love staying active, whether that’s at the gym or shooting hoops (I played basketball for 12 years). I also enjoy binge-watching TV shows, getting lost in Marvel movies, and discovering new music.
