Therapeutic Focus:
Every client is a work of art — a one-of-a-kind, original, extraordinary masterpiece. I am especially passionate about working with artists, neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. I offer affirming, culturally responsive care in areas such as life transitions, religious trauma, minority stress, and identity exploration.
Schooling and Training
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Cincinnati in English and Electronic Media, and my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge — a nationally recognized, COAMFTE-accredited program. I completed 15 months of advanced clinical training in LGBTQ+ affirmative mental healthcare at the LGBTQ Center OC. I hold specialized certifications in evidence-based treatment models including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I am also a recipient of the 2025 American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Diversity Award for Emerging Leaders.
Approach to Therapy:
My intention is to create a space of warmth, safety, and belonging — where clients feel reconnected to themselves and others. I work from a biopsychosocial lens and integrate multidisciplinary, eclectic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My work is grounded in narrative, strength-based, solution-focused, and positive psychology approaches. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients in their journeys. I celebrate wins, sit with losses, and center the client as the expert of their own lived experience. My goal is for every client to feel seen, heard, deeply validated, encouraged, and empowered. I actively invite feedback throughout our work together to ensure the process feels aligned and helpful. Every client deserves respect, dignity, and compassionate support.
Fun Facts About Me:
I am a biracial, queer, neurodivergent unicorn. Musicals and movies are my jam, and I geek out over poetry, cinema, and art galleries. Some of my favorite things: rollercoasters, swimming, coffee shops, nature, traveling, plants, and seeing folks achieve their goals. Before becoming a therapist, I worked on entertainment sets as a production assistant, office intern, background artist, and actor.
